These cute little bunnies are racing towards the juicy carrots at the top of the hill. But the path is full of surprises. Suddenly a hole opens – one of the bunnies falls into it… and disappears.

Whose bunny will reach the top first?

Content:

• 1 green slide with rotating carrots
• 16 rabbits 4 colors.
• 24 cards

Preparation:

• We place the green slide in the middle of the table.
• Each player takes 4 rabbits of the same color. If only 2 or 3 bunnies are playing, return the remaining bunnies back to the box.
• One of the players shuffles the cards and places them face down next to the hill.
• The player whose birthday is next goes first. Then continue playing clockwise.

The rules of the board game Ravensburger Happy Bunny are quite simple.

Take the top card from the pile. Then move your rabbit up as many spaces on the hill as indicated on the card. Jumping over any already occupied squares does not count. If there’s a hole in the way, it counts, but you only get into it if you land there.

Be careful when choosing which rabbit to move. Some squares are safe and nothing will happen to you if you land on them. Some are unsafe and suddenly open up to form a hole. Think carefully about your move when choosing which rabbit to move. If all four of your rabbits fall into the holes, you are out of the game and will have to wait for the next one.

Gently turn the carrot clockwise until you hear a click. One of the squares on the way to the carrot may open. If there is a rabbit in that particular area, the poor thing will fall inside. He will then disappear into the depths of the hill and be out of the game. But sometimes the hole doesn’t open – and you’re lucky to win, escaping with the treasured carrot in your teeth!
